Position: Assembler
Location: Fort Collins, CO 80524
Client: Leading Scientific Industry
Duration: 3 months contract
Payrate: $25/hr
Shift: Days 8am-5pm

This position is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. We have an enthusiastic and diligent team which is committed to providing scientists with groundbreaking and high-quality instrumentation. We pride ourselves on delivering amazing results and value our outstanding culture.
How will you make an impact?
In this role you will be working with a team to produce flow cytometry instruments. We are looking for the person in this role to be interested and able to be flexible to support material handling and assembly work in the production process.
What will you do?
• Follow written work instructions to build electromechanical, fluidic, and optical assemblies.
• Work with hand tools, test equipment and computer software to build, test and troubleshoot.
• Work with the manufacturing team and engineering to improve procedures or designs to reduce assembly and test time.
• Producing high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Receive and Stock material accurately and with attention to quality and accuracy.
• Being part of a hands-on, creative, self-willed, self-motivated, flexible, and dynamic team.
• Maintains clean and organized work area that supports co-workers as well as safety, efficiency, quality and customer demands.
How will you get here?
Education
• Requires high school diploma or GED. 2-year technical degree is a plus.
Experience
• 1-3 years assembling high precision products or experience with a similar skill set
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Strong mechanical proficiency
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality results
• Ability to communicate well with the team, ask questions, learn quickly
• Able to read schematics and mechanical drawings
• Proven troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable navigating multiple software applications
• Experience operating a forklift is a plus but not required
• Physical requirements - Standing, bending, reaching and handling bulky parts is common to the job.
Hazards – Exposed to potential hazards including pinch points, fall hazards, chemical exposure and general safety issues associated with manufacturing. Works in hot, cold, dusty, elevated and noisy area.
