Job Title:Assembler 2

Job Duration: 3 months contract – W2

Job Location:1600 Central Ave., Roselle, Illinois 60172 (Onsite)

PPE Notification: Contractor is responsible for wearing their own steel toed boots, other PPE based on the task being performed will be provided to the contractor on site

Shift: 1st

6 AM -2:30 PM CST(Mon-Friday Sat if needed)

100% Onsite

Essentially looking for someone with similar experience working on building machines who can come in with less initial direction needed and will be familiar with a similar work environment.

The Assembler II position encompasses the assembly of diverse subassemblies and/or finalized products for general purpose machines. Core duties involve conducting functional tests to ensure compliance with specifications, executing quality checks, and ensuring punctual deliveries. These roles report directly to the Production Supervisor, crucial in the production process's efficiency and adherence to standards.

**Essential Functions

**

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine assembly procedures.

Assembly of various components with hand tools and power tools, use feeler gauges, common hand tools (manual, air-driven & battery), arbor presses, and hand trucks.

Verify dimensional specifications, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts.

Perform intermediate mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper fit and operation of equipment.

Perform operating tests per product checklists.

Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble electrical components.

Install electrical components such as switches, sensors, connectors, and wiring harnesses.

Conduct visual inspections of assembled components to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Identify and rectify any discrepancies or defects in the assembly process.

Document assembly processes, test results, and any quality issues encountered.

Effective communication.

Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including the use and implementation of 6S.

Record production data daily.

Position Qualifications

Education: A high school diploma (or GED) is required.

Experience:

Two plus years of experience.

Electrical / Mechanical experience required.

Machine building experience a plus.

Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office.
