Remuneration: £50,000 + £10,000 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Flooring Products will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of wood flooring
• Majority of your time will be spent selling into flooring distributors, flooring retailers, flooring showrooms, flooring stockists, DIY stores and builders merchants
• Such as: Likewise, Carpetright, Headlam, Jewson, Travis Perkins, Wickes, B&Q and Homebase
• Will be a smaller element of selling to flooring contractors
• Once up and running will be targeted to turnover circa £1m - £2m
• Will inherit some spending accounts (tbc) however will be expected to generate new business
• Attending trade shows when needed
• Reporting into and working closely with National Sales Manager

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Flooring Products with:

• Must have field sales experience within the building products market
• Ideally sold flooring or interior building products
• Ideally sold to the likes of Likewise, Carpetright, Headlam, Jewson, Travis Perkins, Wickes, B&Q and Homebase
• Would consider other building material product backgrounds
• Must be hungry and driven with bags of enthusiasm
