Architectural Project Manager | Multifamily Housing Focus

Job Description

Oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion. Manage client budgets, schedules, project communications, documentation, and team assignments.

  • Direct Reports: 2-3 (Project Architect, Architectural Staff, Architectural Designers)
  • Project focus: Multifamily Housing, senior living, and some restaurants!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project budgets, schedules, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Ensure project milestones, profitability, and billing schedules are met.
  • Guide and mentor staff, fostering skill growth and accountability.
  • Support licensure goals and professional development.
  • Maintain open, constructive communication with the team.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, managing expectations and project scope.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure timely communication.
  • Oversee administrative and technical team efforts for efficiency.
  • Solve complex design, code, and construction challenges.
  • Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants.
  • Ensure quality control, constructability, and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's ).
  • 6+ years of experience (8+ ideal); active licensure .
  • Strong leadership, organization, and client-facing skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit (required) and AutoCAD or Bluebeam ().
  • Valid driver's license for site visits and meetings.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary target range: $90,000 - $110,000 (potentially up to $120K for the base salary DOE).
