Architectural Medical Equipment Planner

As an Architectural Medical Equipment Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Real Estate | Planning, Design, and Construction team completes projects on-time and on-budget for the UCLA Health System. Your role will focus on overseeing the procurement and installation of medical equipment within the Hospitals and Medical Office Buildings throughout Los Angeles County. Primary duties include:

•\tCommunicating between equipment vendors & UCLA Health Clients

•\tAssisting with design, evaluation, & selection of medical equipment

•\tPreparing equipment lists, managing budgets, & tracking purchases

•\tCoordinating installation of medical equipment

•\tResolving punch list items

•\tCoordinating hand-off to UCLA Health clients upon Substantial Completion

The full hourly salary range for this position is $70,900.00 – $145,200.00. Please note – the department’s target pay range is $77,256.00 – $96,048.00/year.


Qualifications

•\tAt least 3 years of professional experience working in healthcare administration, finance, design, construction, or related field. •\tAbility to analyze data and create accurate spreadsheets, graphs, and charts for management report. •\tProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam – .•\tKnowledge of building codes, UCLA standards, and accessibility regulations – .•\tFamiliarity with California Building Code, Title 22, and HCAI (OSHPD) requirements – •\tAbility to organize and facilitate projects.•\tAbility to interpret legal and technical documents.•\tSkill in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines despite workload changes.•\tStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
