Whitmore Architects is seeking to hire an Architect with strong creative and analytical capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with 5 - 10 years of professional experience. The architect should possess excellent graphic and writing skills. This professional should be able to extract essential concepts from complex information, and clearly communicate these understandings visually and verbally. Experience in design and in evaluation of design/construction issues are important qualifications for this candidate.

We work as a team, therefore your ability to support and communicate well with each team member is key. A balanced background in leading and serving others is important.

Professional skills should include proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and in AutoCAD. Other desirable proficiencies include Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.

Duties will include investigations of defective construction, evaluation of causes, definition of repair concepts, preparation of reports about the findings and repairs, and presentations of findings to pertinent parties. They will also include design, construction administration and project management.
