Architect (GCP)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document cloud architectures leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.

• Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to translate requirements into cloud solutions.

• Lead migration strategies from on-premises or other cloud providers to GCP.

• Establish cloud governance frameworks, security best practices, and IAM policies.

• Design and implement disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions.

• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost across GCP environments.

• Oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.

• Guide development teams in adopting cloud- architectures and CI/CD pipelines.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to engineering teams.

• Stay current with emerging GCP technologies, trends, and certifications.
