Salary: £35-43,000

I am working with a RIBA chartered practice to find a talented Senior Architect with a passion for creative designs to join their team in Dorking. The team works across the Residential, Healthcare and Education sectors and have a keen interest in sustainability and are aiming to be net-zero over the next few years, so would like the Senior Architect to share this goal.

Key Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery and coordination of architectural projects.
  • \n

  • Produce Building Regulations applications, tender documentation and construction drawing packages.
  • \n

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, planning officers, Building Control, consultants and contractors.
  • \n

  • Prepare feasibility studies, Design and Access Statements, planning applications and supporting documentation.
  • \n

  • Develop project specifications using NBS where required.
  • \n

  • Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and industry standards.
  • \n

  • Carry out site visits, project meetings and technical inspections as required.
  • \n

  • Provide technical and administrative support throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • \n

About You\n

    \n
  • ARB registered Architect with up to four years' post-registration experience.
  • \n

  • A solid understanding of UK construction methods, detailing and technical design.
  • \n

  • Experience using NBS for specification writing would be beneficial.
  • \n

  • Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit, with good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • \n

  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • \n

  • Well organised, self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload.
  • \n

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • \n
