Architect

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £36-40,000

A long-established, design-led architectural studio is seeking a talented Architect to join its Cardiff office. With over five decades of experience, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful, sustainable design solutions both across the UK and internationally. The team is known for producing commercially aware, user-centred environments and works across architecture, urban design, and masterplanning, with a strong focus on mixed-use, retail, leisure, residential, and workplace schemes.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Support the delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages
* Prepare detailed technical drawings and coordinated construction information
* Assist in developing practical, compliant technical solutions in line with design intent
* Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders
* Produce and manage drawing packages, specifications, and project documentation
* Attend site visits and assist with technical queries during construction phases

Requirements:

* ARB registered
* Demonstrable experience working on UK-based projects across various stages
* Strong design ability with good attention to detail
* Proficiency in Revit is essential, with Adobe Creative Suite beneficial
* Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
