Arc Welder - Contract Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Arc Welder to join a well-known and respected engineering company based in Poole. This is a contract position starting Monday 2nd November.

\n

Key Responsibilities
\n Carry out Arc (MMA) welding on steel components to a high standard.
\n Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
\n Inspect and assess completed welds to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with required standards.
\n Maintain a high standard of workmanship while meeting production and project deadlines.
\n Follow all relevant health & safety procedures and company quality standards.
\n Work effectively as part of a team within a busy engineering environment.
\n Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area.
\n Skills, Qualifications & Experience
\n Time-served Welder/Fabricator with proven Arc/MMA welding experience.
\n Strong experience welding steel using the Arc/MMA welding process.
\n Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
\n Good understanding of welding procedures, quality standards, and inspection requirements.
\n Strong awareness of health & safety practices.
\n Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
\n Full rights to work in the UK.
\n Able to travel to Poole daily for the duration of the contract.
