Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities. Support the setup and use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to ensure proper wiring and circuit functionality. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to aid in accurate installation of electrical components. Help with the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems following NEC ( Electrical Code) standards. Participate in construction activities including framing carpentry related to electrical infrastructure. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, especially when working with high voltage systems. Maintain organized work areas, assist with inventory management of electrical supplies and tools, and document work progress as directed.
Requirements
Must have some experience or interest in industrial or commercial electrician work; prior construction site experience is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and basic electrical concepts such as low voltage and high voltage systems. Basic knowledge of NEC standards and the use of testing devices like ohmmeters is . Strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and develop technical skills on the job. Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while working on active construction sites or industrial environments. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework related to electrical work is advantageous.
