Job DescriptionJob Description

1. Mobilization & Material Handling
2. • Load, unload, stage, and organize materials and tools.
   • Maintain clean, safe work areas and assist with daily setup/breakdown.
   • Report daily to the Lead Electrician or Site Supervisor for assignments.
3. Conduit & Rough-In Support
4. • Assist with installing EMT, PVC, rigid conduit under supervision.
   • Measure, cut, thread, strap, and support conduit/pipe.
   • Install junction boxes, pull strings, brackets, hangers, and supports.
5. Underground & Duct Bank Support
6. • Assist with trenching, excavation, conduit layout, and bedding sand placement.
   • Assist preparing transformer pad areas, rebar layout, grounding assembly, and conduit sweeps (supervised only).
   • Assist during duct bank inspections (no authority to speak with AHJ).
7. Wire Pulling & Assistive Termination Tasks
8. • Pull THHN/XHHW circuits, feeders, branch circuits, and low-voltage pulls as directed.
   • Land grounds, tighten mechanical lugs, strip wire, prepare conductors.
   • Assist with 0–10V dimming wiring and fixture whips.
9. Light Pole, Fixture, and Device Support
10. • Assist in erecting lighting poles, tightening bolts, leveling bases.
    • Assist in mounting fixtures, emergency lights, sensors, occupancy devices.
    • Install receptacle/device boxes and plates under supervision.
11. Testing, Labeling & Close-Out Support
12. • Assist with megger testing, labeling panels/devices, and punch-list tasks.
    • Assist with material counts and as-built updates.
    • Ensure work areas are clean prior to inspections and final AHJ walk-through.
