Application Support Engineer - DV Cleared

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, initially for 6 months with a view to extend.
\n
Please note, the role is OUTSIDE of IR35. You must hold live UKIC DV. The role is on-site 4 days per week in Gloucester.

Application Support Engineer - Key Skills:
\n
- \n
- Must hold a live UKIC DV
- Understanding of networking and software architectures
- Understanding of structured text formats: JSON, XML, CSV
\n
\n
\n
\n
The below skills are nice to have:
\n
- \n
- Exposure to programming such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and Go
- API definitions: Swagger/Open API 3
- Shell Scripting
- AWS or other cloud platforms' administration
- Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles
- Infrastructure as code and configuration management tools (eg Terraform, Ansible)
- CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Kubernetes - cloud or on-prem
