CTG is seeking an Application Modernization Project Manager to lead project teams in delivering client solutions in Atlanta, GA.

Job Title: Application Modernization Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 9 months

Position Summary:

Lead project teams in delivering client solutions for modernization and cloud initiatives. Manage scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables while coordinating with client project managers and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams to deliver solutions as outlined in the statement of work/contract

• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables

• Apply project management techniques: Garage Method for cloud, design thinking, agile, and continuous modernization

• Direct and coordinate modernization delivery teams

• Oversee solution delivery activities: coexistence architecture, refactoring, containerization, APIs, microservices, conversion, and database conversion

• Ensure integration across SOE, SOI, SOI, and SOR systems

Skills & Expertise:

• Project management methodologies: agile and design thinking

• Continuous modernization, application refactoring, containerization, API/microservices development

• Strong understanding of SOE, SOI, and SOR architecture

• Organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

• Cloud platforms: IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, RedHat OpenShift, Google Cloud

Experience Required:

• Proven track record leading complex IT projects with modernization and cloud delivery focus

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions and modernization initiatives

• Collaboration with client project managers and cross-functional delivery teams

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• PMP or Agile/Scrum certifications a plus

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
