Our client is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Application Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and reliable application infrastructure that supports complex systems in a specialized industry. This role is key in guiding cross-functional Agile teams through hands-on technical leadership, architectural design, and the full development lifecycle to meet organizational goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, high-performance application infrastructure using Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, and JavaScript technologies.

Lead Agile development tasks including coding, system integration, data conversions, and architecture implementation with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.

Conduct peer code reviews and provide technical oversight for internal and contract staff.

Write and maintain detailed technical features and user stories to support the product roadmap.

Collaborate with Scrum Masters to manage sprint activities, identify blockers, and maintain progress against sprint goals.

Ensure digital accessibility compliance by:

Embedding accessibility as a critical design consideration.

Managing it as a compliance-level requirement in SDLC.

Using accessibility-compliant tools, code libraries, and frameworks.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and provide regular input for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

4–6 years of professional experience in software development and system architecture.

Proven hands-on experience with:

Microsoft .NET Framework

C# and C/C++

Microsoft SQL Server

Web Services and Windows Services
-
XML Schema (XSD)

Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 8, 8.1, 10).

Strong grasp of software engineering principles, secure coding practices, and system scalability.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and writing user stories.

Demonstrated ability to guide teams and deliver enterprise-grade technical solutions.
