As an Applications Engineer at Intralox Japan, you take Intralox’s service to the next level by ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the life cycle of our broad product line. Job responsibilities include:Perform varied technical and sales roles to support, develop, and promote modular plastic belt conveying applicationsReview applications and drawings to check product suitabilitySupport, coordinate, and supervise site installations and commissioningProvide technical trainingsProvide both remote and site troubleshooting Conduct technical audits and health checksManage performance issuesTesting of proposed solutions, in-house, with suppliers or as field testing Desirable qualifications:Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or relevant experience in an engineering role involving mechanical equipmentNative Japanese and fluent English (TOEIC score 600 or more)Ability to travel frequently, work weekends and holidays, and work occasional overtime when requiredStrong project management and collaboration skills including planning, scheduling, leadership, and team buildingExcellent communications skillsSelf-motivated, team player, passion for learningExperience in the use of hand & measuring toolsProficient in AutoCAD or other CAD softwareProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
