Applications Engineer / Mechanical Seal Specialist / Technical Support Engineer Role:

This technical, office-based role requires a skilled individual with experience in mechanical seals or rotating equipment. You will provide application support, collaborate with internal teams, prepare quotations, and assist customers with troubleshooting and technical recommendations.

• Pre-sale technical support and collaboration: Work with internal sales teams to prepare accurate quotations and technical proposals for customers.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions: Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and suggest the best mechanical seal solutions for their applications.
• Coordinate technical input for service and repair jobs: Liaise with both customers and internal teams to define job scopes and schedules.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting: Assist customers in resolving mechanical seal-related issues, ensuring a quick resolution.
• Ensure timely and accurate technical documentation: Maintain and submit all proposals, reports, and documentation on time.
• Collaborate across teams: Keep all stakeholders informed on the status of projects and any technical updates.

Applications Engineer / Mechanical Seal Specialist / Technical Support Engineer Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2-5 years in mechanical seals or rotating equipment with a strong understanding of mechanical seal applications and sealing materials.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software; ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with component seals, cartridge seals, metal bellows, rubber bellows, and other sealing solutions.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical seal issues.
• Ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM, ERP, and AutoCAD or similar software.
