As an Appliance Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and setup of various household appliances, including built-in refrigerators, dishwashers, cooktops, wall ovens, and more. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing in-home measurements to ensure the proper fit of appliances before installation. You will work closely with customers to ensure their appliances are properly installed and functioning correctly.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and ensure the proper functioning of appliances (refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers, etc.).

Take accurate in-home measurements to confirm that appliances fit the designated spaces.

Safely lift, move, and position heavy appliances and equipment during delivery and installation.

Provide on-site demonstrations to customers on how to operate their new appliances.

Ensure all safety and regulatory compliance measures are followed during installations.

Troubleshoot and diagnose appliance issues during the installation process.

Communicate clearly with customers regarding installation procedures, delays, or adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Perform quality checks on installations and assist with any follow-up needs.

Complete and submit installation reports, including customer signatures and any necessary documentation.

Ensure customer satisfaction through professionalism and attention to detail.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications .

Proven experience in appliance installation (e.g., wall ovens, built-in refrigerators, professional ranges).

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems as related to appliance installations.

Ability to take precise in-home measurements and assess space requirements for appliance installations.

Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift and carry heavy appliances as required.

Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, if needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working for a home improvement or appliance installation company.
- Knowledge of smart home appliances and advanced technologies.

Certification from an accredited institution in appliance repair or installation.
