Career Strategies Inc. is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community in Waukesha, WI. This is a full-time opportunity with weekly pay and an immediate start.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on technician with general apartment maintenance experience — someone who knows how to keep a property running smoothly and efficiently. Strong skills in plumbing, appliance repair, and make-ready turns are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Orders: Promptly respond to and complete maintenance requests, including plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, and general handyman tasks.

• Make-Readies: Prepare vacant units for new move-ins—patching drywall, painting, replacing fixtures, cleaning, and more.

• Appliance & Plumbing Repairs: Diagnose and repair common household appliances and plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or garbage disposal problems.

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic upkeep to prevent future issues.

• Common Area Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness and functionality in shared areas like hallways, laundry rooms, and community facilities.

Qualifications:

• Apartment maintenance experience required

• Strong skills in plumbing and appliance repair

• Experience with painting, drywall, electrical, and general repairs

• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

• Must have your own basic tools and reliable transportation

• Able to communicate effectively with property staff and residents

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
