Job Summary:

We are seeking an Analyst, Asset Management to join our New York City team in the Empire State Building. Our group manages a portfolio in excess of $4 billion in assets, consisting of 285+ multifamily affordable housing properties primarily financed with tax-exempt bonds. The ideal candidate will have interest and knowledge of the commercial real estate industry, strong analytical and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, and a general understanding of the real estate industry. This role will also be client facing and needs to provide excellent customer service to our clients and investors. The candidate will be responsible for several aspects of loan servicing and management, including oversight inspections, analysis of property financial statements, and quarterly investor reporting.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Perform a variety of Loan Servicing functions including:

  • Manage process of third-party inspections and ensuing deferred maintenance tracking
  • Periodic analysis of property financial statements
  • Quarterly investor reporting
  • Oversight of Physical Needs Assessment inspections and reports
  • Review and approval of property reserve draws

Qualifications:

The candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Solution focused and detail-oriented individual. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required with a firm command of Microsoft office. Adaptability and willingness to learn as you go are key.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting
  • Strong background, knowledge, and interest in the real estate industry
  • Industry and/or relevant experience , but not required
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate finance, servicing operations and commercial mortgage documentation is a plus
