JOB DESCRIPTION

Warehouse Clerk / Customer Service Representative



POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for accurate and timely communication with all customers (internal and external) to ensure that customer orders are received, allocated, routed, labeled and shipped in compliance with customer requirements / contract.



RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
  • Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
  • Count accurately and label received materials and assign them accordingly to their destination.
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
  • Data entry and record keeping. Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities
  • Provides additional backup support for parts department and perform other duties as assigned.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
  • Receiving, stocking, and stacking
  • Pulling, packing, and loading
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to internal and external customer e-mails, inquiries, needs, questions, issues, and concerns.
  • Establish a solid working relationship / rapport with all internal and external customers.
  • Prepare and distribute required customer reports on open orders and short orders.
  • Update customer profile information/guides/SOPs for all assigned accounts.





SKILLS AND QUALITIES

  • Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
  • Strong organizational skills are needed to manage inventory and maintain an orderly work environment.
  • Effective communication is needed to interact with colleagues and resolve issues.
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and other inventory-related issues.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and other computer applications.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a larger team.
  • Depending on the role, some physical tasks may be required, such as lifting and moving boxes.
