Job Title: Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer\nLocation: West Yorkshire\nSalary: £40,000-£45,000 (Depending on experience)\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\nAbout the Role:\nWe are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our team in West Yorkshire. This role focuses primarily on air conditioning systems, but also includes refrigeration work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, maintenance, and repair, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Install, service, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial and residential properties.\n * Work with various systems, including VRV/VRF, split, and multi-split units.\n * Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.\n * Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently.\n * Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.\n * Deliver excellent customer service and technical support to clients.\nRequirements:\n * F-Gas (2079) certification (essential).\n * Proven experience in air conditioning and refrigeration engineering.\n * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.\n * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.\n * Full UK driving licence.\nWhat We Offer:\n * Competitive salary based on experience.\n * Overtime opportunities (Monday–Friday: standard rate, Saturday: time and a half, Sunday: double time, Bank Holidays: negotiable).\n * Company van provided for engineers.\n * Company pension scheme.\n * Company uniform.\n * Mobile phone.\nSmart Search Technical is a specialist recruitment company operating in technical engineering sectors across the UK & beyond.
