Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an AI Research Scientist opening for our client in Houston, TX.

Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Conduct advanced research in Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a focus on Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and multimodal large models.

• Design, develop, and optimize state-of-the-art AI models and algorithms to address complex business and scientific challenges.

• Apply expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and exploratory analysis to generate insights and solutions.

• Develop and implement AI engineering frameworks, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to integrate AI solutions into production systems.

• Leverage cloud deployment frameworks, infrastructure, and tooling to design, deploy, and manage AI models at scale.

• Document research findings, present results, and contribute to publications and internal knowledge sharing.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow programming.

• Expertise in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and large-scale AI/LLM development.

• Advanced knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and exploratory analysis techniques.

• Strong core programming skills across multiple .

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with cloud-based deployment frameworks, infrastructure, and related tooling.

• Solid understanding of AI engineering principles and best practices.

Experience:

• Proven track record in AI/ML research and development with demonstrated contributions to advanced AI models.

• Experience in designing and deploying machine learning systems in production environments.

• Background in publishing research or developing cutting-edge solutions in AI .

Education:

• Degree in a STEM field required; Ph.D. .

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
