Job Description

What You will Do:

  • Identify and manage risk in the manufacturing process.
  • Point of contact to resolve technical quality issues with the suppliers. Ensure full containment of all quality-related issues is conducted both internally and at associated sites and suppliers promptly.
  • Facilitate and lead a cross-functional team in failure analysis, Root Cause, and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure
  • Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non-conforming material and facilitate the Material Review Board (MRB) when necessary
  • Daily status meetings with the factory support, factory management, bargaining union, hourly employees, and internal stakeholders to manage the quality issues
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, utilizing statistical analysis and engineering principles to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions applied read across
  • Verify product and process compliance concerning the contractual, technical, industry, AS9100D Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and the customer’s internal policies.
  • Create, review, and maintain process control documents, including work instructions, inspection plans, and test methods
  • Audit training records to ensure they are current and are compliant as it relates to QMS
  • Prepare the hourly and salary associates to upcoming 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audit
  • Identify gaps within QMS and develop a plan with actions to address promptly

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience OR In the absence of a degree, 5 years of relevant experience is required
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to customers and management
  • Experience with SAP and quality management systems
  • Ability to multitask as needed
  • Proficient in GD&T

Pay Range: $75000 - $80000

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT
