Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer

About the role:

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support and develop aerospace manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aerospace fabrication and machining and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed work instructions (MOTs), setup sheets, and process plans
• Design and validate machining processes for complex aerospace fabrications
• Develop tooling solutions including fixtures, work holding, gauges, and cutting tools
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction efforts
• Analyze and resolve manufacturing and quality issues
• Perform manufacturability reviews on technical drawings
• Develop and maintain routers and related documentation

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years in aerospace fabrication, welding, forming, machining, and processing
• 2+ years developing machining processes for complex assemblies
• 3+ years working with brake presses, CNC punching, laser cutting, hydroforming, CNC lathes/mills, and welding
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks required; Mastercam a plus)
• Experience with complex aerospace materials and OEM requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations (U.S. or Permanent )
