Infosys is seeking an Advanced Power Systems Application Engineer with expertise in AspenTech, GE eterra ADMS, or Schneider Electric. In this role, you will work with Electric Utilities and Distribution System Operators on modeling, software specifications, designing, testing, tuning, and delivery. You will contribute to various phases of the consulting lifecycle, focusing on business process consulting, problem definition, solution creation, and deployment. You will guide project teams, contribute to proposals, client training, and internal capability building, helping define project scope. This position offers the opportunity to shape consulting solutions that meet evolving global needs.
This role is based in Rosemead, CA; Charlotte, NC; Juno Beach, FL. Candidates may work remotely within the USA during EST or PST hours, with possible travel to project sites.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of relevant experience may substitute for each year of education.
At least 4 years in Information Technology.
Experience with at least one full-cycle utility power implementation, including functional testing and deployment of ADMS (AspenTech, GE eterra ADMS, or Schneider Electric).
Qualifications
At least 5 years in electric distribution automation processes and systems.
Knowledge of smart distribution and transmission control systems.
Strong understanding of grid operational suites (ADMS, EMS, SCADA).
Hands-on experience with DMS functionalities such as Power Flow, Switching, FLISR, Volt Var Optimization.
Experience with OMS functionalities like Trouble Management, Crew Management, Outage Indices, storm configurations.
Proficiency in model management, UI configuration, and SCADA display creation.
Ability to design industry-standard information exchange models like CIM (61970 & 61968).
Experience in developing business processes and system use cases.
Ability to mentor teams and resolve issues during support/Post-Go Live phases.
Experience working in North American utilities and in global consulting environments requiring travel.
