Job Description

Advanced Manufacturing Engineer paying up to $100K for a growing corporation in the Irving area. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer be an integral part of the Operations team. The successful candidate will offer a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to the success of our initiatives providing end to end ownership and supervision of manufacturing processes, particularly for new product introduction and industrialization for manufacturing.

This is a DIRECT HIRE and an IN-OFFICE position!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop manufacturing processes for new product introduction, implementing efficient and effective processes within cost parameters that ensure product quality
• Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes for efficiency and effectiveness in light of new techniques and potential resource availability
• Assure product and process quality, including appropriate testing and methodologies at point of need
• Provide manufacturing decision-making information associated with production timing, cost and scheduling along with the resource requirements and workload assignments
• Grow Manufacturing Engineering competency including both professional and technical knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering along with 5+ years of proven experience in an engineering/manufacturing technical role
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing / engineering processes, techniques and best practices
• Able to communicate well and work well on a team in a cross-functional environment with R&D Engineers, SW Developers, Project Managers, Testers and Manufacturing & Supply Chain personnel
• Solid hands-on working knowledge of CAD and PDM systems, SolidWorks
• Solid hands-on expertise with ERP and problem management systems
• Demonstrated ability to effectively staff, manage and motivate personnel
• Highly organized and efficient at prioritizing workload
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to change and be flexible to meet the needs of the business
