Role Summary:

We’re seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Construction Assistant to support a fast-paced construction business. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has gained experience and is looking for long-term growth, or for a more experienced individual who has demonstrated consistency and professionalism in past roles.

You’ll help manage critical administrative functions like preparing competitive bids, maintaining up-to-date licenses, and keeping operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit bid packages for construction projects
  • Track expiration and renewal deadlines for state/local licenses and registrations
  • Draft and edit correspondence, proposals, contracts, and project documents
  • Schedule meetings, inspections, and manage basic vendor communications
  • Provide general administrative support to owner and operations teamSupport bookkeeping, reporting, or scheduling tasks
  • Organize digital and paper files; track deadlines, renewals, and documentation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail

  • Tech-savvy: able to quickly learn construction platforms and tools (e.g., Procore, Sage, Excel, Drop Box, Adobe, Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of their work
  • Comfortable handling confidential or sensitive information professionally
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • High level of integrity and dependability

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Experience preparing bids or proposals is a strong plus
  • At least 1 year of administrative or office experience (construction field a plus)
  • Track record of either:
    • Steady progression from entry-level positions, or
    • Long-term stability in prior roles if more experienced
