POSITION: Adjunct Instructor – HVAC-R
POSITION AVAILABLE: August 2025
JOB SUMMARY:
The Adjunct Instructor of HVAC-R is an important member of the College’s instructional team and is responsible for teaching the course objectives for the HVAC-R program, including curriculum implementation, maintaining a schedule of classes, and fostering a culture of professionalism, innovation, and excellence, and continuously monitors and improves instructional quality and student outcomes. Through these efforts, the instructor ensures alignment with the college's mission and enhances its reputation and impact.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold at least an associate’s degree in HVAC-R or a closely-related field and have a minimum of three years relevant, industry-specific workforce experience (experience in higher education specifically a community college setting is , but not required); In addition, the successful candidate must have strong communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills, organization and time management skills, strong computer skills, and hold the Universal EPA certification.
