Accounting Operations Manager
Location: Greenville, NC (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000–$60,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts, no nights or weekends

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Manager to manage and optimize financial processes for our restoration company. This role plays a critical part in handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring tax compliance, handling payroll, and supporting leadership with financial reporting and planning. Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Oversight

Maintain accurate records across accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger

Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts monthly

Handle payroll processing and employee benefit-related financials

Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations

Prepare documentation for audits, insurance claims, and tax filings

Track commercial and insurance job financials, including job costing and retention billing
Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process vendor invoices and payments; manage vendor relationships

Generate client invoices, track payments, and manage collections

Monitor lien laws and documentation requirements

Produce regular A/P and A/R reports
Reporting & Support

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Support budget development and forecasting

Provide financial insights to company leadership

Maintain customer and job financial records in QuickBooks and internal systems

Align project financials with estimating and claims software (Xactimate, T&M)
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)

2+ years of accounting experience (restoration industry a plus)

Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Excel, and financial tools

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience with payroll, lien laws, job costing, and insurance claim reconciliation

Familiarity with Xactimate/T&M platforms
