Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an Accounting Operations Lead to join their finance team in downtown Omaha. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys process improvement, system management, and mentoring others. You’ll oversee key accounting operations, ensure accuracy across financial systems, and support ongoing initiatives that keep the company’s accounting function running efficiently.Responsibilities:

• Lead and support accounting operations, including general ledger activities, reconciliations, and intercompany billings
• Troubleshoot and maintain general ledger systems in collaboration with IT and external vendors
• Train and mentor team members involved in accounts payable, receivable, and reporting functions
• Review and ensure accuracy in monthly transactions, payments, and reporting processes
• Partner with finance leadership to identify process improvements and support system enhancements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting or financial operations
• Strong knowledge of general ledger systems & accounting principles
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
