Doyle Security Services is seeking an experienced Account Site Manager in Suffolk County, Brookhaven, NY.
JOB SUMMARY:
Account Site Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations, including assisting in hiring, training, developing, retaining and handling performance issues with staff. Build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees. Coordinate the support services needed and solve problems to effectively run the account. Maintains maintenance of weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned security personnel. Provides after-hour emergency response as required.
Manager Functions:
- Functions as a Manager of Security Officers and Shift Supervisors; acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are prepared, filed, and submitted; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
- Coaches, trains, and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
- Maintains maintenance of weekly operating schedules, reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
- In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
- Inspects posts as schedules and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
- Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
- As assigned, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, carried out managerial duties that can include some or all the following: interviewing, orienting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and making hiring and termination recommendations.
- May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License and must possess Valid Driver's license
- 3+ years of security managerial experience
- Knowledge of TrackTik scheduling a plus
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet requirements for specific skills, certifications or authorizations specified for the assigned site
- Ability to manage staff, including scheduling, providing training and discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis
- Demonstrate strong technical and computer skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
- Ability to write routine correspondence and reports
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with client, at various social levels and across diverse cultures
