Imagine owning the electrical heartbeat of each vehicle build. If you enjoy diagnosing power issues, crafting clean schematics, and making sure every device receives the right energy, this AC/DC Vehicle Systems Engineer role is for you.
Your mission
Enable Production to succeed through precise, consistent electrical design and integration—delivered on schedule and built to exceed our standards of excellence.
Scenarios you’ll tackle
- Hand off clear, actionable design intent to the production floor, translating complex requirements into practical steps.
- Generate accurate electrical designs, layouts, and schematics under defined timelines.
- Terminate cabling at power outlets, equipment, and the central electrical power cabinet—cleanly and reliably.
- Route AC and DC cabling throughout vehicles to ensure every subsystem is properly powered.
- Cut access points and drill runs so AC/DC wiring and controls are neatly and safely installed.
- Splice wiring and solder connections to fixtures and equipment; troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as they arise.
- Work independently with exceptional attention to detail; inspect your work and validate it against quality standards.
How you’ll partner
Collaborate closely with Engineers, Designers, Drafters, and Production staff in a high-efficiency team setting. Your clarity and follow-through align design with execution.
Must-have strengths
- Fluency in electrical schematics
- Expert electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with electrical/electronic systems
- An engineering degree
