5G RF Performance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced 5G RF Performance Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in LTE/5G NR network performance, RF optimization, QXDM/QCAT log analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

The ideal candidate must be able to work directly with live QXDM/QCAT device logs, identify RF and protocol issues, troubleshoot failures, and determine the root cause—not just perform KPI reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze LTE and 5G NR SA/NSA network performance.
• Analyze RF KPIs including RSRP, RSRQ, RSSI, SINR, CQI, BLER, MCS, PRB utilization, and DL/UL throughput.
• Analyze accessibility, retainability, mobility, and handover KPIs.
• Troubleshoot coverage, interference, capacity, call drops, handover failures, RLF, RACH, and RRC re-establishment issues.
• Perform worst-cell analysis and recommend optimization actions.
• Perform drive-test and field-log analysis.
• Use QXDM/QCAT to analyze device logs and identify root causes.
• Troubleshoot LTE/5G RRC and NAS procedures.
• Analyze VoLTE, VoNR, and VoWiFi performance.
• Troubleshoot IMS/SIP/RTP call flows and voice failures.
• Correlate RF conditions, device logs, protocol events, and timestamps to identify failures.
• Support feature validation
