Title: Manufacturing Engineer II – Weld // 3rd Shift Weld / Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Davenport, IA - 52809

Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)

3rd Shift: 10 PM to 6 AM, overtime will be required, weekend coverage will be required

Description:

• In this role as a 3rd shift welding manufacturing engineer, you will have responsibilities related to keeping production running during 3rd shift operations in the Fabrication department at Davenport Works.
• Duties will include but are not limited to, supporting operators, maintenance, and salary support staff.
• This could include trouble shooting MES systems, automated or manual welding processes, training operators, and other production supporting related tasks.
• This role will require weekend support depending on production needs.
• Additional responsibilities will include project or process development and documentation.
• Experience with manual and robotic welding systems. Fanuc .
• Ability to support production through execution of new or existing processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot automated and/or manual processes.
• Ability to communicate in English, verbal and written.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
• Ability to work alone as well as in a group setting.
• Ability to follow up with group communications or work tickets.
• Ability to document work.
• Ability to use Microsoft products such as Excel and Outlook.
