Sunday: 9:00 pm to 5:00 am
Tuesday to Friday: 12:00 am to 8:00 am

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician and production and maintenance manager, assists with maintaining and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of production equipment and machines; installs and repairs electrical components of industrial equipment and machinery; performs all preventive maintenance functions; and ensures maintenance of buildings and grounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visually inspects and listen to equipment and machines to locate causes of malfunctions
Troubleshoots equipment to determine cause of breakdown
Dismantles equipment and machines to gain access to problem area
Repairs equipment and machines and tests their operation following repair
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed or relocated equipment and machines
Assists contractors with repairs
Assists electrician with connecting power supply wires to equipment and machines and connects cables and wires between equipment and machines
Replaces faulty electrical components of equipment and machines such as relays, switches and motors
Diagnoses and repairs or replace faulty electrical components such as printed circuit boards
Performs structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishing of buildings
Assists with the requisitioning of tools, equipment and supplies
Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications and standards
Complies with company policies and safety regulations for workers at all times
Performs preventative maintenance and repair work orders on buildings and equipment
Maintains accurate records and documentation in maintenance software
Confers with supervisor to coordinate work activities
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
education to include an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 1 year experience with shop tools to include but not limited to: PLC programing and devices, grinder, saws, heat treating, HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical components, basic carpentry tools, etc.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete in situations where only limited standardization exists. May need help with interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Employee is learning to properly operate all types of equipment throughout the plant and is being taught to understand all plant systems-electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc…
