Structural Welder

Location: El Mirage, AZ
Schedule: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Monday – Thursday | Overtime as needed
Pay rate: $22.60 – $25.05 per hour

Duties:

• Run overhead crane system to handle steel beams, plates, and assemblies using chains, grabs, and other rigging equipment
• Read blueprint drawings to determine the correct weld type and thickness
• Operate welding machines, including striking arcs and guiding electrodes along lines
• Perform multi-pass welds and all required welding operations to ensure quality assembly and production
• Use needle guns to clean welds and remove slag
• Load weld wire spools as required and maintain welding equipment

Requirements:

• Must pass required company weld test
• High school diploma preferred; welding certification a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong understanding of welding processes and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently without constant supervision
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting 10–50 lbs, mobility, dexterity, vision, and hearing
• Ability to wear required PPE including respirator as needed
