2nd Shift Quality Inspector in Franklin

Hours: 2:30pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday

Pay: $21-22/hour

We are currently hiring for a quality control inspector at a medical device manufacturing company!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Control Inspector is primarily responsible for Quality Control testing and disposition activities related to raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, first articles and validations.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Responsible for start-up, in-process and final testing of materials (RM, WIP and FG) and disposition per approved customer and internal Vesta requirements.
• Performs testing and acceptance activities through interpretation of sampling plans, routers, blueprints, etc.
• Records data per Good Documentation Practices (GDP) on product routers and within electronic systems.
• Frequently utilizes rulers, calipers, fixtures, pull test apparatus, microscopes and on-contact vision systems for analysis.
• Communicates the status of inspection activities as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Excellent (written and verbal) communication and effective human interaction skills.
• Flexible to change, and possess a high degree level of integrity and “can do attitude”.
• Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
• Able to run sampling tables and associated calculations.
• Able to use various measurement devices.
• Must have a high school diploma/GED
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
