As a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing mid to expert-level repairs, preventative maintenance, and fabrication tasks. You will also handle the rearrangement and installation of equipment and systems, perform tests, and repair electrical circuitry and controls using schematics, manuals, and written documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform mid to expert-level repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Engage in fabrication, rearrangement, and installation of equipment and systems.
- Conduct tests and repair electrical circuitry and controls.
- Utilize schematics, manuals, and written documentation for troubleshooting.
- Move machines, take them apart, relocate, and reassemble them.
Essential Skills
- Experience in preventive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair.
- Proficiency in basic machine repair and troubleshooting.
- Ability to install and relocate machinery.
- Understanding of electrical circuitry and control systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5 plus years of experience .

Work Environment
Work is conducted on the 2nd Shift, from 3 PM to 11 PM, with potential for overtime. The position offers a shift differential for working the 2nd shift. Our facility is clean, temperature-controlled, and organized, providing one of the cleanest manufacturing environments. The workplace spans two levels, ensuring everything is well-arranged for efficiency and safety.

This is a Permanent position based out of Freeport, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $61360.00 - $68970.00/yr.
Performance evaluation and opportunity for raise at 90 days
