\nThe Operator - Hoyt position will manufacture quality Wire Cloth products by performing preset,\n
\nset-up and operation of Crimpers, Straighteners, Presses, Press Brakes, Shears, Welders, Roll\n
\nMills, and Hot Melt Machines; and perform material handling duties.\n
\n

2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday; 4:30pm-3:00am - Pay starting at $21.47 per hour\n
\n

• $1,000 Sign - On Bonus offered after successful completion of 180 days of employment

\nLevel 1 Operator:\n
\n• Identify safety violations or potential hazards to manager or safety team member.\n
\n• Attend safety training.\n
\n• Maintain a clean and organized workplace using the "6S" system (sort, set in order, shine,\n
\nstandardize, sustain, & safety).\n
\n• Perform visual inspection to meet product quality requirements.\n
\n• Operate a Press Brake, Shear, Hot Melt Machine, or Roll Mill as "helper". Assist "main"\n
\noperator in shearing panels, bending edges, pouring polyamide, and rolling screens.\n
\n• Or Setup and Operate a Crimper, Straightener, Press, Loom, or Welder with assistance fromLevel 2 & 3 Operators. If working on Loom, assist other Loom operators with setup.\n
\n• Measure critical dimensions, make necessary machine adjustments and change out worn\n
\ntooling.\n
\n• Embrace change in the work environment to maintain internal and external customer\n
\nsatisfaction.\n
\n• Adjust schedule to fluctuate work priorities as needed.\n

\nLevel 2 Operator:\n
\n• Demonstrates and is able to maintain effectiveness in all Level 1 accountabilities.\n
\n• Operate a Press Brake, Shear, or Holt Melt Machine as "main" operator with minimal\n
\nassistance from Level 3 Operators. "Main" operator must be able to dictate correct setups\n
\nand machine settings to ensure quality products are being made. Provide "helper" with\n
\ndirections and communicate what help is required.\n
\n• Or Setup and Operate a Crimper, Straightener, Press, Loom, or Welder with minimal\n
\nassistance from Level 3 Operators. If working on Loom, assist other Loom operators with\n
\nsetup.\n
\n• Assist and train Level I Operators and aspiring level II operators if necessary.\n
\n
\nLevel 3 Operator:\n
\n• Preset, setup (in a timely manner), and able to be "main" operator on all Press Brakes,\n
\nShears, and Hot Melt Machines.\n
\n• Or Setup and Operate a combination of Crimpers, Straighteners, Presses, Looms, or\n
\nWelders with no assistance. If working on Loom, assist other Loom operators with setup.\n
\n• Understanding, compliance, and active involvement in establishing ISO standard operating\n
\nprocedures and work instructions.\n
\n• Participate in LEAN and World Class improvement projects.\n
\n• Assist and train Level I and II Operators.\n
\n

\nEducation and/or Relative Experience: (The level of education and/or experience needed to\n
\nsuccessfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.)\n
\n
\nLevel 1 Operator:\n
\n• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Minimum one to three\n
\nmonths related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and\n
\nexperience or demonstrates appropriate skill level to successfully Perform all duties of\n
\nOperator I job grade Level.\n
\n
\nLevel 2 Operator:\n
\n• Operator 1 with minimal assistance for 1 year. Once an operator reaches this level of\n
\nproficiency, even if the 1 year mark has not been met, training for Level III Operator tasks\n
\nmay begin.\n
\n
\nLevel 3 Operator:\n
\n• Rotated through all of the machine cell and set up positions as an Operator II with\n
\nminimal assistance for 3 years.\n
\n
\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations (The licenses, certificates or registrations that are\n
\nrequired to perform the essential duties of this job.)\n
\n• None Required\n
