Job Title: 2nd Shift Flexo/Tacasa Corrugated Machine Operator
Shift: Sunday thru Thursday - 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Location: Elk Grover Village, IL
Pay: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour

Requirements: Resume / Interview / Background Check / Authorization to work in the U.S.

Must be able to train on the 1st Shift - 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Corrugated Machine Operator to join their team in Elk Grove Village, IL. As an experienced Flexo/Tacasa Corrugated Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of corrugated packaging materials. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a Tacasa Flexo corrugated press for printing, slotting, creasing, folding, and die-cutting. 

• Load corrugated sheets into the machine and monitor production runs.

• Perform quality checks on print registration, ink coverage, die-cut accuracy, and box dimensions. 

• Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot to ensure product quality and minimize downtime. 

• Maintain equipment, including cleaning rollers, changing ink, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and resolve issues with machinery as they arise.  

• Accurately complete production logs and maintain proper documentation.

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ Experience with Flexo Die Cut machinery (corrugated packaging industry ). 

• Ability to read job tickets, blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications. 

• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform Shop Math.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent attention to detail.
