Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRole and Responsibilities:
Full Time position supporting the CEC Task Order filling the senior logistics engineer position.
Duties include: logistics engineering, training, curriculum development, and updating of Navy Training System Plans (NTSP). The position is located at Port Hueneme, CA.
Position Duties:
• Either Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, material management, or other technical degree and 8 years of experience supporting Navy systems or no degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience supporting Navy systems.
• Ideal candidate will possess advanced US Navy Combat operational and test experience, as well as significant experience in Navy Training programs.
• Must be proficient with Training course development, delivery, and evaluating efficacy of training programs.
• Must be able to lead an extensive update of the CEC NTSP.
• Must be able to update NTSP using updated Front End Analysis (FEA), Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA), Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment (STAVE) compliance, and adherence to requirements within OPNAVINST 1500.76E.
• Must be able to interface with Senior Military (O-6) and Training Command Leadership and contribute to advanced development of the CEC Training Program.
• Must be able to prepare briefing materials and presentations and conduct briefings for management and other high-level decision makers.
• Must be capable of synthesizing multiple organizational, procedural, and technical inputs and drive strategic improvement of the CEC Training Program
• Must be able to work independently or in a team, complete tasks, and provide technical guidance to others.
• Must be able to take responsibility for action items assigned, complete the actions, and provide status.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with own transportation and able to travel (0 -25%).
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and get a government clearance.
• Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed technical monthly reports.
Skills:
• Experience with Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC)• Navy A / C School (FC or OS)
• Navy Master Training Specialist certification
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, and PowerBI
