What You’ll Do:
This individual will be responsible for leading all programmatic and delivery aspects of the NDR solution implementation, integration, and sustainment across the Department’s global IT enterprise. The Project Manager will oversee planning, resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder communications, and compliance, ensuring successful execution within scope, cost, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead end-to-end project execution for NDR deployment, including kickoff, design, implementation, testing, training, and transition to operations.
- Ensure alignment with the Department’s Target Security Architecture (TSA) and modernization objectives, including EO 14028, FISMA, and FedRAMP High compliance.
- Manage integration of the NDR solution with existing cybersecurity tools, SIEM, and SOAR platforms.
- Drive risk, issue, and change management processes and maintain detailed program documentation.
- Oversee resource planning, subcontractor coordination, and onboarding in compliance with HRPT clearance and security requirements.
- Deliver monthly performance reports, quality assurance documentation, and other contractual deliverables.
- Support incident response coordination, ensuring solution effectiveness in reducing MTTD/MTTR and providing proactive threat-hunting capabilities.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree .
- 10+ years of progressive IT program/project management experience, with 5+ years leading federal cybersecurity modernization programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise NDR, IDS/IPS, or SOC modernization projects, preferably in global or highly distributed environments.
- Prior hands-on experience executing NDR/EDR/XDR engagements using leading platforms such as Darktrace, ExtraHop RevealX, and/or Vectra AI, including deployment, tuning, and integration with SIEM/SOAR.
- Proven record of managing projects with 280,000+ nodes / 200+ cloud instances or similar enterprise scale.
- Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) – Required.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
- ITIL v4 Foundations or higher.
- Agile/Scrum Master certification (SAFe Agilist or equivalent ).
