We’re seeking a Golf Course Construction with similar values, who can put his or her expertise to work. The individual in this role will report to the on-site Project Superintendent. This position will provide a "hands-on" experience in some of the following areas: Job Shadowing with on-site Project Superintendents, Estimator/Project Managers and General Manager, working alongside laborers in all aspects of golf course construction, managing small crews, scheduling, critical path timeline, construction meetings with owner, architects, and engineers, as-built plans, reading plans, surveying, documentation of daily activities, safety checks for projects, estimating, quantity takeoff.
The location of the projects are yet to be determined but may require the student to relocate out of state from our Golf location in Delano, MN.
Starting pay is $20/hour.
Skills and Abilities:
- Understand and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
Physical and other requirements:
- Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
- Work extended hours outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Travel and Saturday work are required.
