Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Junior Mechanic Technicians for our York, PA client.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour

Shifts: 7:00am - 7:00pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and rotating Sunday

Job Description:

The Jr. Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mail processing equipment and conveyor systems. This is an entry-level technical position ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who is eager to grow their skills in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair Apex machines, strapper machines, and conveyor systems
• Replace belts and diagnose sensor issues versus mechanical problems
• Identify and resolve basic mechanical and electrical issues to support production flow
• Assist with maintaining equipment in compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and production staff to support equipment uptime
• Complete maintenance logs and documentation accurately

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or mechanical experience (entry-level candidates with strong aptitude will be considered)
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform hands-on repairs
• Mechanically inclined with basic understanding of conveyors and production equipment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Basic understanding of tools, sensors, and machine components
