Industrial Maintenance Lead

• Kings Mountain, NC
• Monday - Friday
• 6:30AM - 2:30PM
• $26.00 - $30.00

Summary:
Hands-on industrial mechanic responsible for leading a small maintenance team. Installs, repairs, and troubleshoots equipment, coordinates projects, and ensures preventive maintenance is completed. Works from blueprints and schematics, manages inventory, and supports facility upkeep. Must remain safety-focused at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, assign, and assist with maintenance and repair projects.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, forklifts, lifts, and cranes.
• Source vendors, order parts, and manage inventory with help from Assistant Plant Manager.
• Ensure OSHA safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout, are followed.
• Fabricate, weld, and modify parts as needed.
• Provide direction, training, and support to a team of 3 mechanics.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED; technical training .
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and follow complex instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Work Environment:
Exposure to machinery, electrical components, heights, fumes, and noise. Must remain alert, follow safety protocols, and adapt to changing daily tasks.
