1st Shift Design Engineer - Structural & Architectural Steel

Location: Caledonia, WI

Salary: $55k - $65k /yr

Type: Full-time

This full time, permanent 1st Shift Design Engineer - Structural & Architectural Steel opportunity is at a stable, casual manufacturer located in a newly built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Responsibilities:

• Creating 3D models and production drawings for custom, large-scale motorized door systems designed for industrial environments.
• Work on custom-designed projects tailored to meet specific client needs, requiring expertise in structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Produce detailed technical documentation for fabrication and installation processes.
• Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure accuracy and quality in the design and production of motorized door systems.

Requirements:

• An Associate's degree with an emphasis on architectural and structural steel design
• 2 or more years of experience in design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other similar 2D CAD drafting software is required
• Experience in 3D modeling using tools like SolidWorks or Tekla
• Understanding of electrical schematics is , but not mandatory. Possess a solid work history
• Being a US or green card holder
• No remote as this is an onsite position
