1st Line/IT Service Desk Support Technician (full -time on site) - Web 10th September 2025start
Job Description
We are a supplier to our client who is building a brand-new IT Service Desk team in Theale, Reading seekign a number of IT Service Desk Anaysts.
This role is full-time onsite with no remote option and the successful candidate must be available to start on 10th September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support across hardware, software, networking, EUC, M365, printing, and unified comms.

Manage and resolve incidents via ServiceNow, escalating to L2/L3 when required.

Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, telephony, and conferencing issues.

Administer user accounts and permissions.

Support proactive initiatives such as Tech Bars and user newsletters.
Essential Skills & Experience:
-
Previous IT support/service desk experience.

Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, M365, AD, networking basics, and EUC.

Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

Knowledge of enterprise hybrid environments (on-prem + Azure).
