Case Study: Internships at EDF Energy
Our internship programmes provide an excellent opportunity to gain insights into life and work at EDF Energy. EDF Energy offers internships for 3 months from June – September, and occasionally for 6 months from March.
We’ll provide you with challenging assignments and all the support you’ll need to make the most of the experience. At the end of your placement, you could be offered the opportunity to be assessed for one of our Graduate Programmes.
We offer various opportunities and you could expect to take on a junior hands-on role, perhaps developing your fault-finding skills; project managing minor projects; supporting safety at work; examining feasibility cases to extend stations’ lifetimes, or carrying out maintenance and installing new equipment. Our power stations are often big local employers, and as a result, you’ll find that there’s a real sense of pride and a close community within each one.
