General duties of an HSE Professional

  • The average salary for health and safety professionals with up three to four experience is approximately £42,000, rising to £38,000 for those with up to nine years' experience.
  • Health and safety professionals who have worked for more than ten years have average salaries of £54,000 with average salaries for those with more than 20 or more years' experience rising to £62,000. These salaries can fluctuate depending on what sector of the energy industry you are working in.
  • Individual salaries for senior managers can rise in excess of £200,000.
